India to Host Global ICA Conference in Delhi

India will host the 130th anniversary global conference of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) in Delhi from 25-30th November 2024, with Prime Minister Modi launching the 'UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025.'

• The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) General Assembly and Global Cooperative Conference will be held in India for the first time, with the support of IFFCO, marking a significant milestone in the cooperative movement's 130-year history.
• The conference will provide an opportunity to showcase India's cooperative sector, which accounts for 25% of global cooperatives, and the country’s eight lakh cooperatives.
