Lord Karan Bilimoria Appointed Chair of ICCUK

On 19th November 2024, Lord Karan Bilimoria, the British Indian businessman & founder of Cobra Beer, was appointed as the new chair of the International Chamber of Commerce UK (ICCUK) and has expressed strong support for the resumption of India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations.

Lord Karan Bilimoria will take over as the chair of ICCUK in the new year.
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the world's largest business organization, and its UK branch, ICCUK, will continue to represent the interests of UK industry in global policy, standards, and trade regulations.
As chair, Bilimoria plans to engage more deeply in international trade discussions, including those within the G7 and G20, and aims to further strengthen the UK’s role in global business policy and economic growth.
