Subhadra Yojana

On 17th September, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra launched Odisha’s Subhadra Yojana and several significant railway and national highway projects which coincides with his 74th birthday.

Subhadra Yojana, named after the Goddess Subhadra, will provide Rs 50,000 over five years to eligible women aged 21-60, distributed as Rs 10,000 annually in two installments.
The scheme aims to benefit over 1 crore women, with PM Modi initiating the fund transfer for more than 10 lakh women during his visit.
PM will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for railway projects worth Rs 2,800 crore and national highway projects exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.
Additionally, he will release the first installment of assistance to nearly 10 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) for around 14 states.
The event will feature Griha Pravesh ceremonies for 26 lakh beneficiaries of PMAY (Gramin and Urban), where the PM will hand over house keys to recipients.
PM will launch the Awaas+ 2024 App for surveying additional households under PMAY-G and introduce operational guidelines for PMAY-Urban 2.0 before returning to the national capital.
