Back-to-Back Surface-to-Air Missile Tests

On 12th and 13th September, 2024, India successfully test-fired the Vertical Launch Short Range Surface to Air Missile (VLSRSAM) for two consecutive days from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha.

- Successful Tests: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) confirmed that the VLSRSAM tests on September 12 and 13, 2024, successfully intercepted high-speed, low-altitude aerial targets simulating sea-skimming threats.
