SHe-Box Portal

On 29th August, 2024, the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has introduced the SHe-Box portal, a centralized platform for managing and monitoring sexual harassment complaints at workplaces across both government and private sectors.

The SHe-Box portal acts as a central repository for information on Internal Committees (ICs) and Local Committees (LCs) set up to address sexual harassment complaints in the workplace.
It provides a unified platform for women to file complaints, track their status, and ensure timely processing by the designated Internal Committees.
The portal aims to streamline the complaint process, offering assured redressal and a more efficient resolution for all stakeholders involved.
Real-time monitoring of complaints will be facilitated through a designated nodal officer, enhancing the transparency and effectiveness of the process.
The launch of SHe-Box reflects the government's commitment to improving workplace safety and addressing sexual harassment with greater efficiency and accountability.
By consolidating complaint management into a single platform, the portal ensures a standardized approach to handling such cases, benefiting both the complainants and the organizations involved.
