Pradeep Singh Kharola: Appointed As a Chief of NTA

On June 22nd , 2024, Pradeep Singh Kharola was appointed as the Chief of the National Testing Agency till a regular chief is appointed or until further orders.

Currently, he is the Chairman and Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation till appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He is a 1985 batch IAS officer from Karnataka.
He was the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2012-13.
He has also headed the Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) in Karnataka, which raises funds from international institutions for building infrastructure in cities.
He was the Chairman and Managing Director of Air India.
He had also served as the Managing Director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC).
He had also served as a Joint Secretary of the National Administrative Reform Commission.
