First Women President of Mexico

On June 6th, 2024, Claudia Sheinbaum of the MORENA Party has been elected as the country’s first female president in 200 years of history.

She will succeed the current president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who founded the Morena Party. His leaves office in September 2024.
