Malti Joshi

On 15th May 2024, renowned Hindi writer and Padma Shri awardee Malti Joshi passed away at the age of 90.

Malti Joshi, fondly known as “Malwa ki Meera,” received the Padma Shri from President Ramnath Kovind in 2018.
She authored over 60 books in Hindi and Marathi, including popular titles such as “Madhayantar,” “Pataakshep,” “Parajay,” “Ek Ghar Sapno Ka,” “Woh Tera Ghar, Ye Mera Ghar,” and the novel “Aurat Ek Raat Hai.”
