National Productive Council Report on High Dropout amongst Minorities (2018)

National Productive Council (NPC) was asked to look into the matters leading to high dropouts amongst students especially amongst minorities. NPC submitted its report in 2018.

Major Recommendations: Regular health check-up of all the students across all level of schools should be ensured by the state Governments.

• Vocational training of motor mechanic, motor winding, repair of auto mobiles, refrigeration, etc. courses at secondary and Senior Secondary level should be introduced in the curriculum. This will help in reducing the drop-out rate of all poor students including minority communities.
