2022 United Nations Ocean Conference

The United Nations-led Ocean Conference was held from June 27 to July 1, 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal.

• It was co-hosted by the Governments of Kenya and Portugal.
• The Conference sought to propel much needed science-based innovative solutions aimed at starting a new chapter of global ocean action.
• France would co-host the third UN Ocean Conference with Costa Rica in 2025.
