The Smart Policing Index has been released by the Indian Police Foundation (IPF). It is based on their aggregate scores in six indicators of competence, three indicators of values and one on public trust.
Trust: As the Overarching Element
The SMART scores are set on a scale of 1 to10 and are indicative of the levels of citizen satisfaction, a score of 10 being the highest level of satisfaction.
