Delimitation Commission
- Lok Speaker has nominated 15 MPs from Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh associates of the Delimitation Commission recently to assist the Commission in redrawing the Lok Sabha and the Assembly constituencies of the north-eastern States and the Union Territory.
Associate Members of Delimitation Commission
- Associate Members are Members of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies of states, for which the Delimitation Commission is set up. They are drawn in to help the panel in its task.
- The Delimitation Commission, constituted on March 6 is headed by former Supreme Court judge.
