​Pacific Sea Level Rise Surpassing Global Average: WMO

On 27th August 2024, a new report by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) highlighted that sea level rise in the Pacific Ocean is exceeding the global average, posing an existential threat to low-lying island nations.
