Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 (Series I)
Recently, Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 (Series I) was opened for subscription during the period June 19-23, 2023 with Settlement date June 27, 2023.
- Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme was introduced by the Government of India in 2015 under the Gold Monetization Scheme.
- The Gold Bonds are issued as Government of India Stock under the Government Securities (GS) Act, 2006.
- These are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the Government of India.
