National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (NCAFMPA)
- Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) is meant to promote afforestation and regeneration activities as a way of compensating for forest land diverted to non-forest uses.
- With a cover of 24.56% of Geographical area of the country, forest in India comprise of a number of diverse forest types and reserved areas designated as National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries.
- The National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority has been created under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act 2016 for utilising the corpus created in pursuance of the Supreme court's 2006 order.
