​India and Indonesia Strengthen Maritime and Defence Ties

On 26th January 2025, Indian Prime Minister and Indonesian President reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening maritime security and defence cooperation, emphasizing freedom of navigation in the Indo-Pacific and deepening strategic engagements across multiple sectors.

  • The Indonesian President paid a State Visit to India from 23-26 January 2025. He also attended the celebrations of the 76th Republic Day of India as the Chief Guest.
