Answer: Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan (JP) was a prominent leader of the Indian freedom struggle and social reform movements in independent India. He was born on October 11, 1902 in Sitab Diara, Bihar. A supporter of Marxist and Gandhian ideology, JP played an important role in the freedom struggle and remained active in social reform even after independence.
