Drone Revolution: Changing the Face of Rural India
- Drones in the agricultural sector are estimated to contribute approximately US$7 billion to the global economy. About 84% of farmers in the United States use drones on a daily or weekly basis.
- According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, by the year 2026, India's drone industry will reach a turnover of approximately Rs 12000-15000 crore.
- As of June 2023, there were 333 drone startups registered in India. The number of drone startups saw a growth of 34.4% between August, 2021 and February, 2022.
