- This initiative aims to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply of power for agricultural pumps.
- The 5.45-hectare land purchased by the government will be used to build a 5MW solar power facility that will generate electricity to be fed into the MSEDCL grid, providing reliable daytime electrical supply for agricultural applications in two villages in Rahata taluk.
- This project is part of the Chief Minister Solar Agriculture project, which aims to meet the energy demands of the agricultural sector in Maharashtra by using renewable energy sources.
