- Recently, the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) organised the International Conference-cum-Exhibition on Aerospace and Aviation.
- It was founded on December 27, 1948 and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of independent India, became the First Chief Patron of the Society.
- It is the principal Society in India serving the professions in areas of aeronautics, aerospace and aviation.
- Its objective is to promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge of Aeronautical and Aerospace Sciences / Technologies and to strive for the elevation of the Aeronautical and Aerospace ....
