In Covid times, some of the services performed better in comparison to other. What are the reasons behind that and also suggest measures to boost growth in those services which faced hardships.
Answer: India's service sector contributes more than 50 per cent in Gross domestic product. It is the key drives of India's economic growth and employ's merely 25% of workforce.
Major services in the service sector are tourism, real estate and construction, research and development, IT-Business processing and management and Space.
- However, some of the services such as information technology, research & development and space performed better in comparison to construction, tourism and aviation during Covid times.
