Viksit Panchayat Karmayogi Initiative
On 25th December 2024, on the occasion of the Good Governance Day, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions launched the ‘Viksit Panchayat Karmayogi’ initiative.
- The Ministry also launched four other initiatives underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive and accountable administration.
About the Initiative
- Part of ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ Campaign: The initiative is part of the broader ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ campaign.
- Enhancing Competence of PRIs: It aims to enhance the capacity and competence of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) by equipping elected representatives and officials with the tools and knowledge required for effective governance and participatory planning.
