James Webb Space Telescope Launched
On 25th December, 2021, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), hailed by NASA as the premier space-science observatory of the next decade.
- The telescope will complement and is considered the successor of the Hubble Space Telescope.

- Collaboration: The telescope is an international collaboration led by NASA in partnership with the European and Canadian space agencies.
- Launch: It was launched inside the cargo bay of an Ariane5 rocket from the European Space Agency’s (ESA) launch base in French Guiana.
