The National Skill Development Corporation India (NSDC) ,a not-for-profit Public Private Partnership Company was incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, with the primary mandate of catalysing the skills landscape in India
- Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) was created in 2014
- National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015, aims to skill 300 million people by 2022 with special focus on equity and women empowerment
- National Skill Development Mission (Skill India Mission), launched in 2015 with a vision to make India the “skill capital” of the world, aim to impart skills training to 400 million ....
