​PM-KISAN Scheme

  • On 24th February 2025, Prime Minister released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.
  • The scheme was launched on 24th February, 2019, but was effective from December 1, 2018.
  • The objective of the scheme is to augment the income of families of all land holding farmers subject to certain exclusion criteria relating to higher income status.
  • Under the scheme, a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to farmers, payable in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. ....
