  • Scurvy: It is a disease caused by deficiency of Vitamin C. The chemical name of Vitamin C is ascorbic acid. This vitamin is necessary for the formation of collagen in humans.
    • In this, rashes appear on the body especially in thighs and legs. As the disease progresses, the gums swell causing teeth to become loose.
