Global Cyber-security Index (GCI)
India climbed 37 places getting tenth position in the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2020.
The announcement comes on the eve of Digital India's sixth anniversary, which falls on July 1st, 2021.
Ranking
- Top Ranking Countries: The US topped (1st), followed by the UK (United Kingdom) and Saudi Arabia tied on the second position together. Estonia was ranked third (3rd) in the index.
India in the Index
- India received a total of 97.5 points out of a possible 100 points in the GCI 2020, putting it in tenth place globally.
