6G in India
The government recently directed the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) to begin developing 6G and other cutting-edge technologies in order to keep up with the global market.
The next-generation telecom technology (6G) is predicted to be commercially available between 2028 and 2030, and is said to be 50 times quicker than 5G.
Significance
- More Facilitation: The market for 6G technology is predicted to enable significant advancements in imaging, presence technologies, and location awareness. The higher frequencies of 6G will enable substantially faster sampling rates, as well as significantly increased throughput and data rates.
