IAF gets Medium Range Surface to Air Missile System
On 9th September, 2021, the first deliverable Firing Unit (FU) of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) System was handed over to Indian Air Force (IAF).
The Indian Navy has already inducted its version of MRSAM and this latest version has been tweaked to meet IAF needs.
Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM)
- Development: It has been developed jointly by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in collaboration with the Indian industry comprising private and public sector undertakings.
