Country-by-Country Report
Recently, the Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT) has notified rules for furnishing Country-by-Country Report(CbC) specifying information pertaining to all large multinational enterprises(MNEs).
India has signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCAA) for exchange of CbC reports.
About Country-by-Country Reporting
- Itis a form of reporting by multinational enterprises (MNEs) initiated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Action 13 Report (Transfer Pricing Documentation and Country-by-Country Reporting).
- The report contains aggregated country-by-country information relating to the global allocation of income, the taxes paid, and certain other indicators of a multi-national company.
