SCO Meet 2021
On 23rd June, 2021, National Security Advisor Mr. Ajit Doval attended a meeting of the top security officials from the member nations of the Shanghai Corporation Organisation (SCO) in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe.
Background
- Tajikistan is the chair of the grouping. It took the chairmanship at a meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council in November of 2020.
- Pakistani National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf and Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib were among the participants at the in-person meeting that discussed key regional security issues including the evolving situation in Afghanistan.
