PM Inaugurates Projects Worth ₹7,500 Crores in Maharashtra

On 26th October,2023, Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects valued at approximately ₹7,500 crores in Shirdi, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

- Project Inaugurations: PM inaugurated several projects, including the Ayush Hospital at Ahmednagar Civil Hospital, the electrification of the Kurduwadi-Latur Road railway section covering 186 km, and the third and fourth railway lines connecting Jalgaon to Bhusaval over a distance of 24.46 km.
- Road Development: Additionally, the Prime Minister marked the four-laning of the Sangli to Borgaon section of NH-166 (Package-I). He also unveiled additional facilities at the Manmad Terminal of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
- Distribution of Cards: During the event, the Prime Minister distributed Ayushman cards and Svamitva cards to beneficiaries, promoting healthcare access and property ownership.
- Nilwande Dam Canal Network: The Prime Minister dedicated to the nation the left bank canal network of the Nilwande Dam.
- Covering a distance of 85 km, this canal network will benefit 182 villages across multiple Tehsils in Ahmednagar and Nashik districts.
- 'Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana': PM launched the 'Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana,' providing additional financial assistance to more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra.
