Pulitzer winner Indian Photojournalist Danish Siddiqui Passes Away

Noted Indian photojournalist Danish Siddiqui was killed on 16^th July 2021 during a clash between the Afghan Special Forces and Taliban attackers in Spin Boldak district, which has a contentious international border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Siddiqui was working for Reuters – a news agency.
In 2018, he became the first Indian alongside colleague Adnan Abidi to win the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography as part of the Photography staff of Reuters for documenting the Rohingya Refugee Crisis.
