Boosting Digital India Initiative

On 25th April 2025, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has signed MoUs with eight prominent organizations to promote education, skilling, and innovation under the Digital India initiative.

  • NIELIT, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), signed MoUs with eight notable organizations to strengthen India’s digital ecosystem.
  • The collaboration aims to focus on advancing education, research, and innovation in the fields of Electronics and Information Technology.
  • The organizations involved in the partnership include Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL), ERNET India, NISE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, SKYROOT Aerospace, IFMR, and Kyndryl India.
  • The key areas of collaboration will include joint research, curriculum development, training programs, and capacity building in emerging technologies.
