Akashvani Bags Six Honours at Audio Awards 2025

On 25th April 2025, at the India Audio Summit and Awards 2025 held in Mumbai, India's state-owned public radio broadcaster, Akashvani, secured six awards for excellence in radio and audio content across multiple categories.

The programme ‘Nai Soch Nai Kahani – A Radio Journey with Smriti Irani’ was named Series of the Year for its compelling stories of women’s grit and closed with an exclusive interview with President Droupadi Murmu.
Akashvani’s News Services Division won Best Produced Audio Streaming Programme (Health and Fitness) for its weekly phone-in show Public Speak.
The evergreen show Chhayageet was honoured as the Best Late Night Show, reflecting its continued popularity and nostalgic charm.
Ujale Unki Yadon Ke was declared the Best Celebrity Show on Air, celebrating famous personalities through rich storytelling.
The travel-focused show Safarcast received the award for Best Travel Show for its engaging journeys and vivid narratives.
