PM-YUVA 3.0 Launched to Mentor Young Authors in India

On 11th March 2025, the Ministry of Education has launched the third edition of the Prime Minister’s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors (PM-YUVA 3.0), aimed at nurturing authors under 30 to promote reading, writing, and book culture in India.
Key Points
- Implementation: Managed by the National Book Trust, with selected manuscripts translated into multiple Indian languages.
- Selection Process: An all-India contest on MyGov (March 11-April 10), selecting 50 authors across three themes.
- Mentorship & Timeline: Selected authors to be announced between May and June 2025, with a mentorship program from June to December 2025.
- National Recognition: A national camp for selected authors will be held at the New Delhi World Book Fair in 2026.
