Prasar Bharati Launches OTT App 'Waves'

On 20th November 2024, Prasar Bharati launched its OTT platform 'Waves,' offering users access to live channels and a vast archive of content from Doordarshan and Aakashvani.

• The new OTT app offers around 40 live channels, including popular ones from B4U, ABZY, SAB Group, and 9X Media, as well as major news channels like India Today, News Nation, Republic, ABP News, News24, and NDTV India.
• The 'Waves' app also features services like easy shopping by linking to the ONDC network, as well as games and films for a more interactive experience.
• In addition to live content, the app gives users access to Prasar Bharati’s extensive archives, allowing them to relive nostalgic moments by watching classic shows from Doordarshan and Aakashvani.
