- India has transitioned from being an importer to an exporter of mobile phones over the past decade, while laying an extensive optic fibre network, spanning eight times the distance between Earth and the Moon.
- The Prime Minister outlined India's digital vision, based on making devices affordable, ensuring widespread connectivity, offering low-cost data, and prioritizing digital-first initiatives.
