India to Host First-Ever WAVES Summit

The Indian government will host the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) from 05-09 February 2025, to elevate the country’s media and entertainment industry on a global stage.

WAVES 2025 will be the first global summit to cover the entire spectrum of the media and entertainment industry, focusing on its growth and international impact.
Information & Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju highlighted that the summit aims to foster dialogue, trade partnerships, and innovation within the evolving media landscape.
The event will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to explore opportunities, address challenges, and attract international trade to India’s media sector.
WAVES will serve as a premier platform for shaping the future of India’s entertainment industry and expanding its global influence.
