President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Amrit Udyan on 14th August, 2024, with public access beginning on 16th August and continuing until September 15th, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm.

  • Key attractions in the garden include a stone abacus for interactive learning, a sound pipe to explore acoustics, and a music wall featuring instruments made from recycled materials.
  • The garden is designed to be inclusive, with sensory features like rose fragrances, wind chimes, and a water fountain to enhance the experience for visually impaired visitors.
  • Spanning 15 acres, Amrit Udyan features 'vertical gardens' with cascading greenery, 'Bal Vatika' with a treehouse, and various other specialized sections.
