Delhi University Dominates NIRF College Rankings

In the ninth edition of the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings released on 12th August, 2024, six Delhi University (DU) colleges are featured in the top 10 list, showcasing the institution's growing prominence.

Delhi University's Hindu College has ended Miranda House's seven-year reign at the top of the NIRF college rankings, with six DU colleges making the top 10 this year.
St. Stephen’s College has been ranked third among the top colleges, following DU's Hindu College and Miranda House.
Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College secured the fifth position, while Kirori Mal College and Lady Shri Ram College for Women are ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.
Delhi University has improved its overall position, rising to sixth in the 'university' category, a significant jump from last year's eleventh place.
The university has also made notable progress in the 'research institute' category, climbing to 14th place from 17th last year.
