Antarashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman, 2024

On July 10th, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has announced the 3rd Edition of the Antarashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman (AYDMS) for 2024, aimed at recognizing the media’s role in promoting and disseminating information about Yoga in India and abroad.

Key Points

The AYDMS 2024 will honor excellence in Yoga coverage across three main categories: Print, Television, and Radio. A total of 33 awards will be presented, with 11 awards in each category, covering 22 Indian languages and English.
The awards aim to encourage and spread awareness about Yoga, acknowledging its importance as an ancient practice that combines physical, mental, and spiritual pursuits.
Eligibility for participation is open to all media houses and companies engaged in print media, radio, and television that have registration or permission from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Participation is voluntary.
The evaluation criteria will focus on the contribution of the coverage to the body of knowledge on Yoga and its promotion among people as a means for mental, physical, and spiritual health.
Entries should include content created and published or broadcast between June 12 and June 25, 2024.
