Pema Khandu: CM of Arunachal Pradesh for Third Consecutive Term

On June 13th, 2024, the 44 year old leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pema Khandu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive term. He won the assembly election from Mukto constituency.

- Along with him, 11 other MLAs were also sworn in as ministers.
- The BJP returned to power in Arunachal Pradesh for the third time in a row, winning 46 seats in the 60-member assembly.
- He became the Chief Minister for the first time in 2016.
