In April, 2024, International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) collaborated to provide vocational training, focusing on states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, aiming to empower marginalized communities.

• The initiative aims to address socio-economic challenges faced by marginalized communities by offering tailored vocational training programs.
• Special focus on states with significant tribal populations, such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh.
• ISKCON plans to establish a Culinary School to empower tribal youth, offering employment opportunities at the Maha Kumbh Kitchen in Prayagraj and internationally.
• Short-term courses will be organized, providing industry-recognized certifications through the Skill India Digital Hub platform.
• Additional projects include replicating the success of Govardhan Eco Village and establishing Skill India Centers for skill development in sectors like Hospitality, Retail, and Logistics
