25T Bollard Pull Tug ‘Baljeet’

On 10th March, Cmde Rajat Nagar launched the 25T BP Tug "Baljeet" in Bharuch, Gujarat, as part of the "Make in India" initiative.

Contract for construction and delivery of three Tugs signed with M/s Shoft Shipyard Pvt Ltd under "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiative.
Tugs built under Indian Register of Shipping classification rules to meet operational commitments of Indian Navy.
Tugs to provide assistance to Naval ships and submarines during berthing, un-berthing, and maneuvering in confined waters, along with firefighting and search and rescue capabilities.
