Tele-Law Initiative partnered with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)
It was launched in 2017 with the aim of facilitating delivery of legal advice through an expert panel of lawyers – stationed at the State Legal Services Authorities (SLSA).
The project would connect lawyers with clients through video conferencing facilities by the Para-legal volunteers stationed at Common Service Centres (CSCs) run by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
Additionally, the initiative will also serve as an opportunity to build capacity of 1000 women Para Legal Volunteers (PLV).
