On 1^st February, 2023, while presenting the Union Budget 2023-2024, Finance Minister announced the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman (PM-VIKAS).

About PM-VIKAS: It is unique initiative for empowering the Vishwakarma community, a large class of people scattered across the country.

Expected Impact: It will enable the country’s artisans to improve the quality, scale, and reach of their products; integrating them with the Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSME) value chain.
