Neeranchal – World Bank Assisted Watershed Management Programme
It is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by Ministry of Rural Development in 2016 and assisted by World Bank.
It aims at assisting Watershed development component of PMKSY via technical assistance to improve incremental conservation outcomes and agricultural yields for communities in selected sites. World Bank here is providing 50% of the sanctioned grant (357 million dollars) for the project.
