The following provisions of the constitution ensures social and economic justice for the people-
Article 38: To promote the welfare of people by securing a social order permeated by justice, social, economic and political, and to minimise inequalities of income, status, facilities and opportunities.
Article 39: To secure Right to an adequate means of livelihood to all the citizens. To prevent concentration of wealth in few hands, and organize ownership and control of material resources in such a manner as to serve the common good.
Article 39A: To promote equal justiceand to provide free legal aid to the poor.
