Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF)

Formed in 1995, CLGF works as a forum for local government (including local government associations, individual local authorities, ministries dealing with local government, and research and professional organizations who work with local government) which makes sure that the voices of local government are not just heard but also recognised at Commonwealth of Nations.

• There are 200 members from 53 Commonwealth countries.
• CLGF is currently working in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh as part of the wider DFID (Department for International Development) funded programme supporting local governance and local economic development.
